I have ASD and out of my diagnoses, this one is the most apparent when it comes to speaking to me. I won’t always pick up on certain cues, I talk a whole lot, I appreciate tone tags but don’t always need them and can be poor at responding. These are just a few small things that shouldn’t matter but might, it can be a game of patience with me and if you don’t have that, we probably won’t get on. I’m very opinionated, very vocal and not good at sugar coating things. Despite this, I actively try to be a good person and a good friend.I also have diagnosed Dyslexia, OCD, DID and MXPD. My Dyslexia plays a part in how I message, I prefer to send and receive voice messages but it isn’t a forced thing! I don’t really talk about these issues much but they do play a part in my life, that is all.

⭑ The term “Fujo” ⭑
The fact I have to add this is a little concerning, here is the background on the word Fujoshi and the effects it has on two minority communities.Fujoshi is a homophonic pun meaning Rotten woman, Fudanshi and Fujin being it’s masculine and gender neutral counterparts. Fujoshi is a misogynist term used to demean both women and gay men. Fujoshi is used to describe a woman who is unfit for marriage due to consuming gay media, this includes Yaoi Hentai, MLM romance, sometimes the homophobia is to the point it’s used against those who watch a show with a queer side character and all kinds of MLM content. This word is not used to demean women who read or watch hentai or straight porn, it is specifically born of our hatred for both women and gay men. It is used to imply that a woman (or man or person) is no longer pure for marriage because they’ve read gay content. It’s meaning and useage is rooted in not only misogyny but also homophobia, which is why I choose to have this term openly in my DNI as often those who use it, don’t understand the full meaning or don’t care to understand how it affects both minorities.My issue doesn’t lie with women who read yaoi or anyone who consumes LGBTQ content, my issue lies with the meaning and purpose behind this word. I literally don’t care what you read in your spare time, as long as you’re being fair about it and not fetishising others. The word isn’t just something to be reclaimed by one group of people, in my opinion it isn’t something to be reclaimed fully without understanding. It isn’t a slur, it doesn’t even have to be reclaimed, it just has to be understood for what it is and that’s hurtful to two groups of people.I am also looking to avoid those accounts who seek to fetishise gay men, gay women and any fetishised people. A common problem I come across when looking under the term Fujoshi are people who post “psychological thrillers” such as Killing Stalking as MLM romance, which IS a form of fetishisation.Final PSA:
Any excessive reading and watching of pornography should be taken seriously. Women reading MLM content, Men reading WLW content, anyone reading smut, watching porn and consuming any 18+ content is normal. However, if you find yourself excessively reading any 18+ content, remember to take it seriously and know the warning signs of porn addiction.
